About ABC

ABC was founded by me and a group of breeders from all over that are frustrated with the current state of the industry. It began with an online discussion of why I should continue to participate in the business and continued with another discussion of what people wanted changed. From those discussions, I got the idea to form a cooperative and the group of founding members was just as excited as I am. They are Nancy Guthrie Pierce, Stevie Mathias, Lisa Loring Shannon, Leigh Meyer, Augusta Hammock and Stephanie Standridge-Baden. Trainers and farms quickly jumped on board and we have tremendous support from industry leaders also.

1. Be Kind and Courteous
   We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
2. No Hate Speech or Bullying
   Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
3. No US political discussion of any kind.
   This is not the place to air political views or commentary on your political beliefs. This will be a politics free zone.
4. No Promotions or Spam
   Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed.
5. No discussion of rescues and related issues
   there are several forums out there addressing the rescue issues and need foe assistance prior to reacue as well as related kill pen issues. They are doing a great job. No need to reinvent the wheel.
6. No discussion of abuse issues.
   We are all aware that’s a problem. in lots of areas. But it is also very emotional and controversial and we are not equipped to handle. Abuse should be addressed through appropriate channels.
7. Photos welcome but no sales or marketing please.
   There are lots of forums for that. Once we are ready, we will have a venue for that but not on this page at this time. Thanks for understanding.
